It is a global health problem – many women who do not have and do not use hygiene products, but instead use rags, toilet paper or newspapers during their menstrual cycle, are at risk of vaginal inflammation and health problems. Separately, it is getting worse their mental health, as it leads to a reduction of their social activities, as well as increases gender inequality. |
We at Ameissy are very concerned and committed to this global problem and in 2021 and 2022 we are planning to donate menstrual panties to women in need in poor areas of Africa and Asia, such as Mozambique, Niger, Congo and Malawi.
